UK Visit Visa

A UK visit visa, officially known as a Standard Visitor visa, allows individuals from outside the UK to enter the country temporarily for tourism, business, medical treatment, or to visit family and friends.
This visa is typically granted for up to six months, but can be extended in certain circumstances.
To apply, applicants must demonstrate their intention to leave the UK at the end of their visit, provide evidence of sufficient funds to support themselves during their stay, and outline their travel and accommodation plans.
The application process involves completing an online form, submitting supporting documents such as bank statements and a letter of invitation if applicable, and attending a biometric appointment. Once approved, visitors are free to explore the diverse attractions and experiences the UK has to offer during their permitted stay.
You can usually stay in the UK for up to 6 months. You might be able to apply to stay for longer in certain circumstances, for example to get medical treatment.
